Hello everyone! We are excited about the upcoming football season and having your child be a part of the Seymour Jr High Football Program. As many of you know, we do not receive any city tax funding for our sports programs here in Seymour. With that being said, we rely solely on donations, sponsors, fundraisers and community support. The cost of operating a team is up to the team itself. Our expectation is that EVERYONE involved with the team must take an active role volunteering their time, and in fundraising.  We can’t do it without YOU!

As over half of our operating costs and program needs are covered by donations and team sponsors, we still have unfulfilled expenses, therefore each player will have an individual goal of $200 to raise. This covers uniforms, girdles, equipment, jersey laundering, transportation, sports drinks for games, mesh equipment bags, equipment maintenance, and any other expense directly related to the daily operation of the football program.

We ask that each player obtain two $100 team sponsors, four $50 team sponsors or seek out friends and family members to donate towards the $200 player goal. We also have fundraising opportunities coming up as well that they can participate in too.

The contribution of your time and financial support go a long way in building and sustaining a quality football program. Accordingly, making a memorable experience and season for the team, players, families, SJHS student body, and community.
